Battle of the Bands Returns!

Last year's Battle of the Bands at Oak Tree was such a success that we're bringing it back again on Saturday, May 15, from 2-3:30!  Ready to give it all you've got on the Oak Tree stage?  The first place winner will play at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney!  Interested bands just need to apply for contestant spots through one of the participating music store sponsors (see below).  Here are the rules: 1. All bands must not be working musicians.  2.  All bands must be prepared to perform a minimum of two songs in their entirety on competition day.  3.  No profanities spoken or sung.  4.  No profane gestures. 5. Each participating music store sponsor may enter no more than four bands for the competition.  6. All band members must arrive 30 minutes prior to show time on competition day. 7.  Judges reserve the right to make changes as they deem necessary. 8.  Anyone breaking the rules may be disqualified.  Participating music stores include The Fret House, Covina; Mikes Guitar World, Glendora (626) 864-2065; Monster Guitar, Tujunga (818) 951-8900, and M.I.
