Make Memories by Volunteering at Oak Tree

Who says you can't have fun throwing on an apron and getting together with your girlfriends?  It takes the dedication of many volunteers to make Oak Tree Festival the great success that it is each year. These girls had a great time working together in 2008, so what are you waiting for?  The Festival's Bingo Food service is looking for volunteers to serve hot dogs, nachos, and other snacks to help keep busy bingo players satisfied.  Call Kristina Hajjar at (626) 335-0805 to volunteer for Bingo Food.  Other volunteer opportunities also await you -- call Michael Kowalski at (626) 335-7706 to sign up for volunteer service or to reserve a game booth.

Oak Tree Festival Means Fun, Food and Friends!

With more than 25,000 people attending the Oak Tree Festival, you're bound to run into friends. Or, make plans to meet up with them at the Festival, where fun, games, food, and music light up Glendora all weekend long. Even if you've only been to the Festival once, it has a way of finding a pleasant spot in your memory. This year, the food choices will tempt every appetite -- or may challenge you to try something new. Ever had Mediterranean beef kebab on a skewer? Home Taste Catering by Waffa will provide kebabs, rice pilaf, salad and more once again this year. Last year, they were a hit (read their five-star ratings on Yelp), so they plan an encore. Even when the Festival tents come down, you can enjoy Waffa's exquisite Mediterranean cuisine any day of the year at her shop, Waffa's Kitchen, located at 221 W. Foothill Boulevard, Glendora, just west of Vermont Avenue near the famed Glendora Village.
