Ahhh...the Thrill of a Ride!

One of my best childhood memories growing up in suburban Detroit was attending the local fair in town, where the swirling sights and sounds of carnival rides, cotton candy, music and games kept the fun going all weekend. Glendora's own Oak Tree Festival promises to be all of that and more, with top-rated bands, bingo, and a great selection of FOOD! This year, we have a really delicious diversity of cuisine, including Mediterranean kabobs from Home Taste Catering by Waffa, fresh roasted corn on the cob from Jay Mar Corn Roasters, kettle corn and shaved ice from Pop on the Spot, pizza from Hungry Howie's, churros from T. & P. Churros, homemade ice cream and yogurt from Handel's, funnel cakes from Funnel Cakes West, treats from the Village Eatery and much more! The Oak Tree Festival is scheduled to take place on Friday, May 14, from 5-11 p.m., on Saturday, May 15, from 2-11 p.m., and on Sunday, May 16, from 12-9 p.m. Don't miss the San Gabriel Valley's best weekend festival!
